The Yesterday Swing Orchestra is made up of talented local musicians from around the Northern Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. We all share a passion for performing and preserving the music of the Big Band era. Formed in 2004, the group has been steadily building a following throughout the region.
We enjoy playing for energetic crowds that share our love of this musical genre. Recent performances have included weddings, college dances, fund raising events, and the First Night Winchester New Year’s Eve celebrations.
Do you like to dance? The Yesterday Swing Orchestra performs music to complement a full range of dance styles including swing numbers (of course !), waltzes, tangos, polkas, and slow romantic melodies that allow you to dance close with the one you love.
